Sixties Style Yellow Tote Bag

The other week I was contacted by shoes and bags retailer YesWalker to see if I wanted to review one of their products…

I jumped at the chance (see what I did there?!) to get this gorgeous mustard yellow tote bag and style it with a simple outfit to show off the fabulous colour.

I chose to wear my red skinnies because the yellow was crying out for another bold colour as a contrast. The whole bright red/yellow thing was toned down with a taupe sweater and my two-tone brogues, and I didn’t need much more except a matching belt to pull the whole look together. And wow – a bright yellow bag really brings out the compliments in people – I had three within a couple of days of using it!

The bag is very well made and reasonably priced ($70, or £44), and looks like it’s worth a lot more. Inside it has all the zipped compartments and pockets a girl needs, and I really like bags that stand up by themselves when plonked on the ground – they always have a nice smart feel to them. The style is ever-so-slightly sixties with its square shape and large buckles, and you all know how I love me a bit of retro styling..!

The style is called the Mondani Mott Tote and is available in black, tan and purple (the yellow is no longer available I’m afraid). YesWalker offer free international delivery which is a relief – I am immediately put off using a company outside of the UK if they charge for delivery as for some reason it’s almost always extortionate. There’s even an express service if you spend $99 or more – brilliant! Expect to see this bag a lot more on the blog in the coming weeks… I haven’t used any other bag since I received it 🙂

Let me know if you’ve bought from Yes Walker yourself before and if so – what did you get?

Have an excellent weekend, everyone!

Yes Walker kindly gifted me this tote bag. All reviews are my own and 100% honest, however.
