Easter Pastels: Cornflower, Lemon and Mint

Hope everyone’s had a lovely Easter weekend despite probably eating their weight in chocolate… diet starts tomorrow!!!

I’d had this outfit planned for a while thinking that Everybody Everywear was almost certainly going to be pastels, which it is, for April. Despite my reluctance to jump on this trend at first, I’m now loving all the pastel pieces in the shops. This is a very old cardigan that I really love for its little puff sleeves; it hasn’t been worn in a while but teaming it with white and lemon yellow has given it a new lease of life. And just for a bit of balance, I made sure my lips and nails were deeper, brighter colours for contrast (to stop me looking too insipid)!

Finally: rather than an Easter bonnet, I thought I’d simply wear an Easter egg on my head. Perfect bank holiday weekend hairdo 😉
