Pattern Mixing Perfection

This is probably the ultimate outfit from my pattern mixing repertoire.

I feel I can’t get more co-ordinated than this (if pattern mixing’s your thing, that is – I know it’s not to everyone’s taste)!

I’m surprised I’ve never paired this blazer and this skirt before, both of which I’ve worn a few times on the blog. (Blazer here and here, skirt here.) The colours were just perfect together, and with a few of my other favourite items thrown into the mix (platform suede heels, faux fur scarf, wide tan belt), I had the perfect not-too-cold winter’s day outfit. Though I’m now wondering if it’s a little too co-ordinated… I just don’t even realise I’m pattern mixing/clashing anymore – I just go for what I want to wear together.

I’ve realised how cold I look with my hunched shoulders in the third photo – by the time we got round to taking pictures the sun was going down and it was pretty chilly 😉
