Dressing up a raincoat

I’m doing well with my Winter Edition Challenges this week (see my last two posts) – so far I’ve done all three up to now! (Though the Open To Interpretation challenge might be a sticking point. We’ll see.)

Dressing up a coat was another one I was looking forward too when Kayla announced the challenges – I already dressed one up recently here, albeit in a slightly different way with a necklace over the top. I often put fabulous scarves, brooches and necklaces over my outerwear; I simply can’t bear to hide beautiful accessories in the winter.

Now I know what word comes to mind to describe this outfit! (This is from the combination of a long coat, patterned scarf in a bow like a cravat-thing and knee high boots):

Dandy. I just know it’s the word my dad would use to describe this.
