There was something about being at back at work this week after all the festivities that warranted hot pink to cheer us all up at the office… it didn’t work. But swapping funny Christmas and New Year stories with your colleagues is a good way to ease the pain.
I also reached for the pink lipstick when putting on the slap that morning but then stopped myself. This outfit is a very subtle rule-breaker, in fact so sneaky it’s almost under the radar: pink (knit) and red (lips). We have had dalliances before, so they’re not strangers to me (see this post).
And who says you can’t wear a statement brooch AND a statement necklace??? Er, don’t know, now I come to think of it.
(Is there a book that lists all these fashion rules that we constantly break? If there is, who wrote it? And if there isn’t, where do these crazy-ass rules come from…?)
