I really don’t mean to do it, and maybe you wouldn’t agree with me each time, but that’s okay! 😉
Today it’s the turn of the 1910s… for me it’s about the combination of a puffy leg-of-mutton sleeve (Mum: what are they called again?), a shirt collar and my hair piled up on my head. Oh and a long full silhouette created by wearing wide-leg trousers (like their long straight skirts). Think Titanic day-wear (like this sort of thing), if you will.
I promise I don’t do this intentionally, but it has been rather timely: last week I participated in a few of the Winter Edition Challenges at Freckles in April [great link ups!] – so due to the 1910s thing I’ve got going on I thought I’d try and take up the challenges directly and do as many as I can. So the first this week is Decades/Regions: what’s the betting I’m the only 1910s link up…? 😉
Have a great week everyone!
P.S. The beautiful Saturn necklace was a gift from my parents for Christmas… perfect as the planet Saturn is my favourite thing we’ve seen in our telescope since we bought it last year 🙂
