10 Fabulous Over 40 Fashion Bloggers to Follow on Instagram

This last week I’ve been scouring Instagram for inspiration, and in doing so I’ve found an abundance of Instagrammers I’d not come across before. If anyone says they can’t find many older fashion bloggers on the internet, I say they’re not looking very hard!

My blogroll has more over 40 women than under 40 women, and every day I seem to come across another new blog by another amazing older woman.

I thought I’d bring you some of the fashion bloggers I’ve discovered recently that are bound to inspire you. I say “bloggers”: Some of them have blogs, some of them don’t. But those who use Instagram only are now being referred to as “micro-bloggers”, so they’re all bloggers in some way. What they all definitely have in common, however, is style… heaps of it. I wanted to include IGers that are not the usual ones you see featured on Who What Wear or similar; don’t get me wrong, I adore the well-known older bloggers and have been championing them for a long time. This time I wanted to ring the changes and bring you some you’d maybe not heard of.

These Instagrammers’ followings are smaller and are perhaps less well-known – but they’re no less deserving of some recognition for being truly inspirational.

THESE INSTAGRAMMERS’ FOLLOWINGS ARE SMALLER AND ARE PERHAPS LESS WELL-KNOWN – BUT THEY’RE NO LESS DESERVING OF SOME RECOGNITION FOR BEING TRULY INSPIRATIONAL.

What’s nice is that there’s a really eclectic mix of styles going on here. I think you’ll agree that these women can rock every style imaginable and prove that there is no such thing as age-appropriateness, dammit!! Not only are they over 40 and stylish, but some of them are over 50 (and perhaps even over 60).

So do check them out, give them a follow and don’t forget to leave a comment or two. Everyone likes comments on social media – Instagram is no exception – and it always makes someone’s day if they receive a few extra (genuine) followers and some lovely comments!
