I’d be happy to stay bundled up indoors under ten layers, slippers and a thick blanket, though it’s not always practical when you’ve got things to do and places to go…!
This is my outdoor version of my indoors “under a blanket” outfit – whoever’s idea it was to make a warm midi skirt out of blanket material was a genius. I bought this fleecy Asos skirt last year, and it has to be really cold to wear it as it keeps you so warm; luckily it’s been cold enough to need it, but that’s a contradiction as cold weather and I aren’t on the best of terms. With some major layering going on under that cobalt sweater (another sweater, a t-shirt and a long sleeved t-shirt) and the world’s longest scarf on top, I’m bundled up for the cold as stylishly as I can be. I know all the layers add bulk, but vanity goes right out the window with me in winter – I. Must. Be. Warm.
Do you feel the cold as much as I do? What’s your number one warm clothing item to fight the freeze whilst staying stylish – let me know in the comments!
