When she said the theme was my go-to item, I knew it had to be my black leather biker jacket – a great jacket is an autumn essential in the UK. I bought this one last year after many years of searching for the right one, and it looks just as great with skinny jeans as it does with a floral dress. For a faux leather it’s unbelievably soft and a pretty good alternative to real leather, which would have cost me a fortune. I was having a bit of a mauve moment that day (a shopping trip), and discovered a great new colour combination of black, purple and tan. I’m always up for a bit of pattern mixing, and the galaxy snood and black and white polka dot shirt look perfect together.
So that’s my style in a nutshell – pretty colourful with an unexpected pattern mix for good measure and tons of accessories.
