Firstly – I must say a huge THANK YOU for all the wonderful, touching and supportive comments about my decision to become a full time blogger/writer having left my job a few months ago. Knowing that you think I’ll do okay is so encouraging… I’m scared, but even more determined to make a go of it now! =You’re all lovely, thank you so much=
Anyway – about time I did an outfit post! Regular readers will know I’m a big masculine chic fan, mostly from having a vast collection of coloured brogues at my disposal. This was a super casual, thrown-together-in-the-morning outfit which was a nice contrast to the girly bun I’ve been favouring for a while.
Seeing the photos now I can say this is a rather fabulous colour combination: the muted grey, blues and khaki are nicely offset with the bright pop of coral (and my hair of course, which goes nuclear bright in the setting sun). I’m not sure how many more warm evenings we’re going to get this year, so I’m making the most of my sleeveless t-shirts and tanks while I can. I have a feeling I’m going to be edging towards masculine chic more and more as autumn creeps in, which isn’t a bad thing – I’m just not a cold, wet weather kind of girl. (For me, summer RULES!!)
What about you – what looks are you going for this new season? Let me know!
Happy weekend everyone 🙂
