Though the light in the pictures makes the blue look a lovely deep midnight blue, it’s really navy. I actually quite like the idea of pairing the two colours together: it’s like the most-taboo colour pairing in the stylebook, so let’s all-out break that rule!
And talking of light, there was very little when we took these pictures. December is a month when you really have to get your act together long before 3:30pm to take blog pictures, otherwise it’s unavoidable camera shake city. It’s just too nice and warm inside with tea and roast chestnuts at the moment to start thinking “ooh must go outside into the cold and take blog photos”.
