The white blazer’s back in town

My white blazer came out of hibernation for a chilly (but bright) spring day… oh how I’ve missed you, dear white beauty! A white blazer really sums up summer dressing for me, and I felt summery enough to pair it with a marl grey top and the palest yellow trousers (also released from storage). This was my outfit for shopping and a spot of lunch in town (Wagamama’s seafood ramen, cue Homer Simpson-style “mmmm”-ing) and it was just right for warmth and comfort – in fact I probably had a few too many layers on, it got quite warm in the sun on Saturday.

You can just see the extra long, pointy collars of my vintage 70s shirt peeking out (seen here in February in its full picturesque glory). As we were walking around, the wind was catching them and they kept poking my chin, so I must have looked a right numpty with collars poking me in the face and Mr. Summers and I giggling about it. And has anyone noticed the reflection in my sunglasses? You can see the photographer (Mr. S again) in the left lens, and our little white car in the right one… it is small anyway but the glasses make it look like a miniature toy car 😉
