Sometimes particular outfits I’m wearing appear as if I’ve tried to recreate a particular look (e.g. country squire, 1940s, lady who lunches, or schoolgirl) but usually it’s completely unintentional; however, for this outfit I really fancied a modern version of a 1970s look. I was admiring my Nine West heels on display at home (too nice to put away), then happened to put my flared jeans into my wardrobe after washing… et voilà, one Seventies outfit was dreamt up and one Charlie’s Angel wannabe was born. (So as not to look too retro, I kept the hair a little less 70s and a little more now* with a Croydon facelift, complete with hooped earrings. Such a great expression 😉
