Purple Top on a Carrot Top

Quick details photo today: I’ve decided it’s easier to photograph just the best bits than a whole head-to-toe outfit (in the winter I mean, when there’s no light in the evenings to shoot outside).

So I was rather loving my combination of purple, mustard and blue (and grey and copper if you include the hat and hair) that I wore yesterday, and as I’m still getting to know my camera’s ring flash I thought I’d share the results! In case you’re wondering whether I’ve dyed my hair a brilliant copper red I haven’t – it’s simply down to the exposure on the camera and the use of flash. (If you’re interested: changing it up or down one or two stops affects the appearance of your hair enormously.) I’d actually LOVE it to be that bright in real life.

And the button badge? I’ve had it for a litle while… I couldn’t believe my luck when I found someone on ebay selling a badge declaring my love for my husband – they described it as being for Keith Richards fans but I knew otherwise 😉
