15 Unmissable Reads, The Best of the Blogosphere (December 2017)

In my Best of the Blogosphere this month I have Christmas dressing galore, feeling sexy in your 40s, the illusion of perfection and all the inspirational (older) women you could hope to read about and lay your eyes on!

(In case you’ve not seen these posts before my Unmissable Reads are a monthly round-up of things I’ve seen, watched and liked in the blogosphere that I’m sure you’ll love too.)

I’m posting this a week early this month due to Christmas, but I’ve still been able to find so many amazing reads for you. Do check out these great links – you never know who or what you might discover that makes your day/week/month!

Stephanie talks about feeling sexy in your 40s and beyond – her black lace lingerie is so classy and so sexy.

If you’ve never seen OK Go!’s INCREDIBLE music videos before, prepare for a complete and utter brain f**k (sorry but there’s no other way to describe it)… they are the Supreme Kings of Creative Music Videos. Seriously, gird your loins.

Annette shows us how to do all-black beautifully with leather, velvet and sequins for New Year’s Eve.

Sacramento (quite rightly) has done her first fashion editorial shoot and it’s nothing short of spectacular.

Boho and winter tend not to go together but Lisa is rocking a stunning boho winter outfit in shades of blush and grey.

Poor Amber is two weeks away from having a baby and managed to flood her entire house: See how she turned it around and installed a brand new bedroom floor to make her gorgeous bedroom even more gorgeous (well, her husband laid it to be fair…)

Keeping warm and looking stylish isn’t easy at this time of year, but Liz does both in her fabulous puffer coat and the cutest pom pom hat ever.

As an owner of a pair of black sequin pants I couldn’t love Stella’s holiday sequins glam outfit any more than I already do.

Nikki has written her winter sale edit and included her best buys from Finery, Boden and Baukjen, among others.

Could this woman look any more beautiful whilst talking about her five favourite things this month? Lisa’s picks are spot-on and I’ve already got my eye on a couple of her choices.

Proving that a jumpsuit is the most versatile Christmas party outfit, Alison pairs hers with silver accessories for a striking head-to-toe silver look.

Michelle has considered the precious illusion of perfection and how dirty dishes and other things that keep niggling us aren’t worth worrying over in the middle of the night.

I absolutely adore trips to Dorset, so Jamie’s getaway to Dorset and Lulworth Cove has made me want to go back and do it all over again.

Something I don’t do enough is buying new pyjamas, so I’m loving Jaclyn’s picks of the best Christmas PJs.

Afternoon tea is becoming ever more popular – Michelle shows us what to wear to an English tea party in quirky (but stunning) blue, pink and yellow.
