Another weekend is rolling around, so it’s time to share all your posts in the Saturday Share link up!
This week the temperatures have been pretty mild in the UK for this time of year, but apparently they’re about to plummet… I foresee my winter coats coming out in force very soon.
Unsurprisingly I’ve been obsessing over knitwear and what to layer – I’ve just got my winter wardrobe out of storage and am discovering all the pieces I’d forgotten about over the summer. I do it every year, but every year I love the feeling of having a whole “new” set of clothes…!
In keeping with the theme of knitwear I’m sharing some of the fabulous sweaters I’ve seen online over the last couple of weeks – has anyone else noticed that retailers have really upped their knitwear game this season?
There are lots of stripes in every colour imaginable, as well as bold graphic shapes and interesting textures and details (frills, frills, and more frills in other words).
Enjoy the 7 gorgeous sweaters I love that I’ve picked out for you to shop right here…
When this post goes out I’ll be at a gig in North London: The husband’s favourite from the 80s, Lloyd Cole. Not being a regular gig-goer myself I’m having a panic about what to wear, but no change there with anywhere I’m going. If you were (are?) a massive Lloyd Cole and the Commotions fan then do let me know in the comments (and check out my Instagram Stories for snippets)! I guess it’s only fair that I go seeing as I’ve taken him to see James McAvoy in the West End three times now ๐
So all that’s left to say is… LET’S GET THIS [LINK UP] PARTY STARTED!!

The John Lewis sweater is definitely my favourite. I like the striped one from Topshop too but it looks a bit short…I like to be all tucked in when it gets chilly ๐

hehe good point about being tucked in, Emma…!!
I'm really into sweaters this year, so far I've added 4, with one more on route. I have the multicolour striped one from Boden, it's so cosy! I tend to go for cashmere or merino, fitted or relaxed, but not oversized.
Hope you've had a great night out.

I've never heard of Lloyd Cole…but have fun!
He was massive in the 80s and 90s, Amy: Maybe he didn't make it in the US…?
Oooh I love the sweaters, particularly the first from John Lewis!
Have fun at the Lloyd Cole gig, Catherine ๐
