Printed Wide Legged Pants | Boho Summer Chic in Santorini

Boho summer style | Not Dressed As Lamb
Oh, all the blue and white in Santorini… Expect to see a lot more of it in the outfit photos I have to come!

Our first day of sightseeing was to the beautiful (and famous) town of Oia, where blue-domed churches, white houses and grey and white steps are everywhere you look. We decided to walk to Oia from our hotel in Imerovigli: A two-hour hike (literally) over hills and rocks and unstable pathways, but absolutely worth it for the views you see on the way.

We passed churches and fig trees, lava rocks and stone sculptures, stray dogs and donkeys – and looked down over cruise ships and wooden sailing boats. The island is one of the most incredible places I’ve ever been – its geography is so unique (originally being a round-ish volcanic island that erupted over 3,500 years ago that then formed a crescent-shape with four other smaller islands) with views of the amazing caldera that faces west to give you those world-famous sunsets every night.

And I mean every single night – and we were there for two weeks.

So, the outfit: I wore comfortable, wide legged pants in a boho print that I bought in the sales before I left, and they were the perfect choice for the hike. The scarf was a good cover-up for my shoulders in the sun and I have to admit I wore a pair of trainers and changed into my suede sandals once we reached Oia. (It was actually quite a relief to get my hot feet out of my shoes and socks.) A few accessories like the gold leaf earrings and mirrored sunglasses added that extra something every hot weather outfit needs.

If you’re even vaguely considering a trip to Santorini, I say book it now, without any hesitation. It’s breathtaking.

Do you have any thoughts on where you might holiday next? If you’re planning a winter trip in the next few months let me know all about it – or your thoughts on the outfit – in the comments (or tweet me @notlamb if it’s easier)!

Even in an outfit for a hot day (which is a challenge), you manage to look beautiful, stylish and stunning.

    And Santorini is simply gorgeous!

Oh so pretty! You and the scenery!! Catherine, this is very random but one of my favorite things about this outfit is the nude shoes; I love how you appear to be barefoot.

And um, I think you forgot to pack me with you!! Heehee. Loving everything about your trip!

    Love,

Believe me, Ann – there was NO room in my suitcase… I had to give some of my stuff to the husband to put in his, haha!!!! And thank you my lovely, the sandals were such a good buy!

If as destination was made for you, then this is it!
Those backgrounds are a gift against your red hair and creamy (and now tanned) skin…blue and white..perfect!
The light as well, just wow…it must be the surroundings bouncing it back onto you.
    Like a fabulous photography studio.
I am wearing cosy knits today (plural)…and here you are looking super chic in the heat (I love that belt, BTW)
A scarf would be a must for me too, not just today to keep me warm, but in the heat I would be burnt to a crisp! hahahaha
You look so chilled out, and content in your shots….which just makes the whole look effortless and serene.
No wonder you have fallen in love with the place.

Aww thank you Samantha… It really was like a studio, you just had to avoid the tourists and constantly wait for them to go out of shot!! ;))

Wow the colours look so much crisper than they ever do in the UK! I've been following your adventures in Santorini over on Instagram, it looks like you had an amazing time. Bet you're glad to be back to the UK weather – not!
Looking forward to seeing what else you have to share from your travels.
