The wait is finally over… tonight I’ll be attending the UK Blog Awards where I’m nominated for Best Individual Fashion and Retail Blog.
I just wanted to give you a little sneak preview of what I’m wearing and to say thank you for all sorts of reasons. Hmm that sounds like a premature acceptance speech, doesn’t it?!
First of all I want to thank (now that really does sound like a speech) YOU if you voted for me to be shortlisted way back in November – thanks to you I’m up for a major award, and for that I am truly grateful. And secondly, even if you didn’t vote, weren’t able to vote, or are a new reader, I’m still eternally grateful because without your support, interaction and love sent my way I wouldn’t be where I am now: blogging professionally and loving it. You guys are as much a part of my blog as I am, and the fabulous comments I receive and emails I get from my readers make all the difference to its success. I appreciate each and every effort made to interact with me and your loyalty is incredibly touching.
So THANK YOU, I love you all!!
I’ll leave it there I think – either way, win or lose, I still get to go to a big awards bash in a full-length vintage dress (this is a proper I-feel-like-a-princess dress, I can’t wait to show it to you in full in a proper outfit post) and that’s half the fun, right? I can’t wait.
