Mustard Polka Dots With Blush Pink & a Statement Necklace

Mustard, blush pink & lemon
I think I come up with a new favourite colour combination every week, but this is really is my new favourite. (Really, really this time!) Mustard, lemon yellow and blush pink. Regular readers may recognise the polka dot blazer that I’ve worn many times here, here and here (though not for a couple of years on the blog), and now that blush pink is back on trend I love it with the loose silky trousers I bought at the end of last year. The final piece in my Anna Lou of London arsenal is this fabulous statement necklace: I may just have saved the best till last. It’s perfect with lemon yellow and the length is just right for the Peter Pan collar of my (very old) shirt.

What colour combinations are you embracing right now? Are you wearing any new colours with things you’ve had in your wardrobe for ages? Do share in the comments!

That’s such a lovely shade of pink and polka dots are my favourite. It was great to see your look for share in style.

Such an unusual colour combination, dear Catherine…and yet, it works beautifully!! The polka-dotted blazer is a true "personality piece;" and together with your blush pink trousers, creates the feel of a stylishly slouchy "unmatched suit." My own recent experiment with colour?? I paired a maroon top with a mustard skirt for one of my blog posts…and even my mom was impressed with the result!! 😉

You have just inspired an outfit with these colors! It's all I can do to not jump up and run to the closet RIGHT NOW to try it out! :o) This is why I love reading blogs, and blogging, it keeps my wardrobe fresh without making a single purchase. (well sometimes there's a purchase involved) :o)

I adore this! I have pants those same colour that I haven't worn in a couple of years because I feel like I tired them out – maybe I should bring them back? That blazer is so fab, too. That type of bizarre, wackiness is right up my style alley.
