How to Style Lime Green | With Black & White & Denim
I wore this the other day and was talking to someone about the Woman & Home photo shoot that I featured last week –

I described the lime green top that the stylist picked out for me and how it was a colour that I’d never normally wear myself. To which she replied, “What – like the colour you’re wearing now”? Er – yes… oops. But this sweater is a yellow-green, and that top was a real greeny lime green… oh, who am I kidding?!

The Thomas Wylde skull scarf that was a bit of a must-have item a few years back hadn’t seen the light of day for a while, so as it’s still not over warm in the UK yet I wore that to keep my neck warm and to pattern mix a bit with the stripes of my Breton top. The black and white tones down the acid yellow a little (yep, it’s yellow now…), and with dark denim its garishness doesn’t seem so in-your-face. Not that it bothers me – I’d pair it with turquoise and candy pink if the mood took me…!

I’ve had a look for the scarf on eBay and it’s being sold for anything between $104 and $350(!) – so it seems that was a pretty good investment I made at the time. Do you have any statement pieces or accessories that have proved to be a great investment? If so what are they and what are they now worth? Do share in the comments!

Great… This really appeals to me: black and white and yellow on jeans. My kinda girl. The hat is different from your usual hats and suits you as well.
Yes I have items that have proved to be really good: very expensive Sergio Rossi black peep toe shoes. What they are worth? Nothing I suppose, but they were definitely worth the investment.

I love the irony in that something that's a bit morbid (skulls) make someone happy – but I think that's great! Thanks hun x

As it happens, chartreuse has been one of my most favourite colours for many years, dear Catherine!! We have pops of it brightening our all-white kitchen…and my newest blog look tomorrow will have some hints of it, too!! Your sweater looks amazing the way you've paired it with a black and white striped tee just peeking out – and your skull motif scarf!! And, of course, those shoes…I think my footwear obsession has become that much more intense since my accident (if that's even possible!!) XO

I don't think I can look at your blog anymore as it is becoming a real detriment to my bank balance! I just ordered those black peep toes from LULU's! Damn it!
