10 Items From My Wardrobe – Now Reduced In The January Sales!

January sales picks
January means sales – and that means bargains galore are there to be had! What I thought you lovely readers might like would be a post with actual items I bought last year that are still available online and now reduced in the sales. I’ve researched all the items I bought and found the lowest prices I can for them, and shown them here with my outfit photos.

I’ve tried to include as much info I can: prices in UK Pounds and US Dollars*, if there are limited sizes available, if they offer international delivery (most of them do) and any colour alternatives. I apologise if anything sells out, but all info is correct at the time of writing (05/01/14). So be quick – go grab yourself a bargain!

Asos midi dress - sale

ASOS Midi Dress In Animal Print WAS $81.67 NOW $57.17

Also available in Black/White. International delivery.
My verdict: A real show-stopper of a dress without the need for showing too much flesh – and I love the colours.

Asos boyfriend jeans - sale
ASOS Brady Slim Boyfriend Jeans WAS $68.97 NOW $27.22
Also available in vintage wash with deep hem. International delivery.
My verdict: Really comfy jeans, and not too baggy/boyfriend style. More of a baggy skinny jean, if that makes sense – and less than half price!

Pure Collection coral cashmere sweater - sale

PURE COLLECTION Cashmere Boyfriend Sweater WAS £159.00 NOW £95.00
Available in several colours. International delivery.
My verdict: This sweater is PERFECTION. So soft, washes really well and the perfect shape/fit.

Even & Odd purple boots - sale

ZALANDO Even & Odd Purple High Heeled Boots WAS £65.00 NOW £46.00
Delivery to Europe but only reduced on the UK site. UK sizes 5 and 7.5 only.
My verdict: For a high heeled boot these are unbelievably comfortable – my sister tried them on and her eyes rolled back into her head when she felt how comfy they were.

Asos check trousers - sale
ASOS Trousers In Tartan Check WAS $63.52 NOW $44.47
International delivery.
My verdict: On-trend tartan but the grey and red makes a nice change from the usual dark colours. The waist is pretty small – I had to go up one size but the fit was then perfect.

Naturalizer riding boots - sale
SHOES.COM Naturalizer Riding Boots WAS £153.81 NOW £112.07
Also available in brown. International delivery.
My verdict: More super comfy boots – the leather is excellent quality and I love the traditional buckles.

Seasalt floral raincoat - sale

SEASALT Floral Tincloth Mac WAS $188.84 NOW $114.95 (estimated using online convertor*)
Also available in two other florals. International delivery.
My verdict: I wore this in the pouring wind and rain for over an hour to mend our broken fence during the Christmas storm – I stayed bone dry underneath. Plus I love the floral pattern, and the hood’s detachable which is a bonus.

Reiss dress - sale

REISS Puff Sleeve Shift Dress WAS $300.00 NOW $120.00
International delivery. UK sizes 14 and 16 only (US 10 and 12)
My verdict: The sleeves of this dress are what sold it to me; the fabric is gorgeous and it’s beautifully made. Such a bargain at this price.

Even & Odd grey boots - sale

ZALANDO Even & Odd Grey High Heeled Boots WAS £65.00 NOW £46.00
Delivery to Europe but only reduced on the UK site. UK sizes 6.5 and 7.5 only.
My verdict: See what I wrote above for the purple ones. Mega-comfy heeled boots.

Louche Renn dress - sale

JOY THE STORE Louche Green Pleated Dress WAS $90.32 NOW $57.47 (estimated using online convertor*)
International delivery. UK size 16 only, but available in all sizes from Aspire Style (not on sale).
My verdict: I received so many compliments in person and when I wore this on the blog that I’d class it a winner. Beautiful, simple styling and a great colour.

There are loads of items I want, but a) I am on a budget, though you would not say that if you saw me the last two days… sigh. And b) I have gone off ordering from abroad. Too expensive, too much hassle.

Hi Annette – yes I got my usual size and that was a perfect fit for me. Don't forget they offer free delivery and free returns, so what I sometimes do is order two sizes if I'm unsure and just send one back x

Thanks, Catherine, also for reminding me of their great service, this is what I love about ASOS. Although I really like Wallis dresses, I have to pay intl. postage from Germany to the UK in case of returns πŸ™
