A Gold Personalised Twitter Name Ring (& Pink Hair)

Pink wig, polka dots & personalised Twitter name ring - oNecklace.com

Three great things to be excited about today:

1. My personalised Twitter name ring, 2. Not Dressed As Lamb’s November sponsor oNecklace.com, and 3. Having pink hair. Unfortunately it’s not permanent, it’s a wig…!

oNecklace gifted me this personalised ring. All opinions are my own, however, and 100% honest.

As any fan of Sex and the City will tell you, a personalised necklace has been something of a fashionista essential for a few years now. (Carrie’s name necklace was THE necklace to have about 10 years ago and hasn’t really dropped off the fashion radar since.) So when oNecklace.com reached out to me to have something made from their range of gold and silver personalised jewellery, I remembered that I’d thought a while ago of having my Twitter handle on something – and totally went for the 24K Gold Plated Alegro Two Finger Name Ring. I thought it made a funky alternative to the traditional name necklace, and as I found out on Monday at the Next Blogger Network workshop it’s a great talking point at blogger events!

Do check out oNecklace.com’s huge range of personalised necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings – all in silver and gold with a huge selection of styles to choose from. They have an online chat service (which was really handy when I needed to double check ring sizes), the ring was sent in a beautiful gift box* and it arrived a lot quicker than I expected for a made-to-measure piece. Best of all: they ship worldwide for free. That’s the icing on the cake for me right there.

And in case you’re wondering about the pink hair…? Well I have a pink wig I wore at our family New Year’s Eve party when I was dressed as a Japanese anime girl, and I simply fancied wearing it for this photo shoot. I reckon my Twitter name and little lammies made me think pink, black and white – and the pink makes a change from all that red hair of mine that’s usually flying about all over the place!

I am pretty much in love with your ring. It is really cool. And I haven’t seen a two-finger ring yet. So it is really an additional wow factor.

I just bought a mid-back-length pink wig the day after Halloween, and it's SO much fun. I like your short one here, especially with the matching nails. I don't know how to hide where my natural hair shows at the temples of the wig, though, which is why I usually wear wigs that have black in them so it looks intentional. Do you know what to do other than maybe buy a weft of long black hair and sew it in as an underlayer?

Such a fabulous take on an overdone trend! I've never considered a name necklace because I thought they were boring, but this is a great spin!

I still have the bracelet with my name engraved on it that my parents bought for me when I turned 9, and I can and still do wear it! :o) Love your ring and pink hair. I was thinking of picking up a wig in the after Halloween sales, bet they're all gone by now though. :o(

Sheree that's a lovely idea for a necklace!! My name's a bit too long for a necklace so my Twitter name was ideal 😉
