A casual/corporate clash

Hope everyone’s having a nice weekend!

Continuing the mish-mash theme of my last post, I wrestled the other morning over what to wear over my suit trousers and gingham shirt (both quite smart for work). But with a relaxed dress code comes great responsibility, er, no, I mean confusion. British springtime weather doesn’t help either [trying to decide what to wear I mean]. I was becoming late for work whilst staring blankly at my open wardrobe, so I threw on a very old sweater that I’ve been debating whether to chuck/donate/DIY and a denim jacket.

The sweater has always been a problem: it’s just too tight at the bottom for a girl with hips, so I might take the scissors to it and shorten it to a part where it’s looser, and then the shirt would poke out the bottom which I think would look better. I’ve also been looking at the wedges and thinking they need a little pick-me-up (neon yellow spray comes to mind). So watch this space πŸ˜‰
