September Sun

Aaah… the first of September and you’d think the summer had started today.

So on went a floaty, floral, summer dress, an updo and a bit of bling. Unfortunately the dress needs a full-length nude slip underneath otherwise it’s very see-through – sort of defeats the object of wearing a floaty, cool dress in the sun because the slip makes me hot. And weirdly, the slip (M&S) cost more than the dress (eBay). I actually bought these shoes just to go with this dress; ironically, I’ve worn the shoes loads and the dress only a couple of times due to the overheating factor. Oh well, cost-per-wear of the dress is still small – and will only get smaller…!

Dress: Vintage ebay

I just love your style! This is a gorgeous look. And I'm SO SO SO jealous of where you live! I wish I could take outfit photos against the rolling hills of the English countryside 🙂
