My Favourite Fun and Fabulous Links - May 2016

Favourite Fun & Fabulous Links May 2016 | Not Dressed As Lamb
This month I'm sharing stories about a dog's life and another about female body hair, a feel-good music video and a teen transformed into Hollywood icons. My Favourite Fun and Fabulous Links are monthly posts of things I've seen, watched and liked on the internet that I'm sure you'll love too... There are too many good things here, you don't want to miss them.

Summer has definitely worked its way into what I've seen this month - enjoy!

Michelle proves why she should have won the best storyteller award at the UK Blog Awards with this touching but hilarious story: It's a Dog Life...

Elizabeth grew her body hair for 10 weeks and then wrote about - and photographed - the results. Absolutely fascinating (and not as "let's burn our bras" as you might expect).

Can we take a second to wonder at Sharron's dreamy photography and eye-wateringly beautiful gowns here? A Côte d'Azur location doesn't hurt, either.

I am so in love with everything by Wolf & Moon right now - a British brand that's killing it in modern but wearable jewellery.

Did you know that researchers found that yellow, white, and grey are associated with weakness, while red and black are associated with strength? Black and grey are passive, red is active. 50 Hard Science-Backed Facts About Color.

A step up from #InstagramHusband, this video is all too true for Instagram users (or rather, their long-suffering partners). Just drink that damn coffee, for goodness sake.

I've just recently discovered blogger Christina of Profresh Style - definitely fresh and most definitely stylish.

A Dutch/Belgian teenager who transforms herself into Hollywood film stars and characters - the Audrey Hepburn and Scarlett O'Hara transformations are uncanny.

I love anything that celebrates ordinary people and all their idiosyncrasies, so a JT music video featuring a ton of regular people dancing like no-one's watching might be my favourite thing this summer. Enjoy!

  1. Thanks for sharing about my doggy worries Catherine, I'm glad they made you smile :)
You've got some great links this month, especially the hair grown experiment from Elizabeth. It's weird how we are wired to expect a woman to do, or not do certain things. Like Elizabeth herself, I'm not sure how I feel about the pics. But I do admire anyone who breaks the 'rules'.
