Win a Magnitone BareFaced Vibra-Sonic Daily Cleansing Brush (International Giveaway)
As part of my commitment to bring you more beauty, skincare and make-up content, I’m getting it kickstarted with an international giveaway to win a sonic cleansing brush: One lucky winner will win a Magnitone BareFaced Vibra-Sonic Daily Cleansing Brush worth £70!

If you haven’t used one of these before I can tell you that they completely change the way you look after your skin (in a very good way) and the results are pretty impressive… I’ve been using mine for over a year now and my skin has never felt consistently smoother or cleaner. I’ve also felt that it gets every last scrap of make-up off every time I use it – before I found I was still left with traces of make-up but this absolutely does the job of removing it all.

I was actually given this cleansing brush as part of my prize for winning the Bloggers’ Lounge Best Fashion Blog Award, but I already own a sonic brush…! (I own a different brand but all the functions are exactly the same so I’m confident my “review” applies.) I thought it only fair that as a thank you for voting for me to help me win the award I pass on part of the prize to you, my lovely readers!

With great features like a USB charger, timed sonic cleansing (to tell you to move on to the next part of your face) and interchangeable heads, I guarantee this will revolutionise your cleansing routine.

Read on for specifications of the brush and how to enter…

My best skin care tip that works for me is to use baby wipes to remove make up, then i use a heavy night moisturiser. I always wipe my face with a baby wipe in the morning also and then apply a lighter day moisturiser.
I also use an exfoliating scrub once a week and i find it helps keep my skin clear of breakouts.
During winter i use a thicker foundation with minimum 15SPF, and during the summer i use a tinted moisturiser with a minimum 25SPF, it all works for me! 🙂

  10. 3 April 2016 / 7:36 pm

The good old tips of never going to sleep with makeup on and remembering to also protect the face when in the sun has helped me a lot x

  28. 2 April 2016 / 11:46 pm

Drink plenty of water and moisturise!

  29. 2 April 2016 / 10:56 pm

Drink lots of water. It used to work for me but now on medication which brings me out in spots on the odd occasion (not a pity post by the way lol). When I was at school and all my friends were getting spots I hardly ever had any because I used to (and still do, although no medical reason for that) and still drink loads of water.

  30. 2 April 2016 / 9:52 pm

Extra moisturising during winter months and a cold water wash in the morning helps to get rid of puffy eyes

Use a really good night cream so your skin wakes up refreshed.

  37. 2 April 2016 / 12:36 pm

  38. 2 April 2016 / 10:23 am

Always remove your makeup before going to sleep at night

  39. 2 April 2016 / 8:53 am

The best tip that works for me is to use something like Clearasil pads, but only once every few days – then if it's bad I'll use them up to twice a day for a couple of days, then break and go back to every few days. Any more and I dry my skin out too much, any less and it gets too greasy!

  67. 23 March 2016 / 2:26 pm

When my skin is getting a bit "bumpy" (I'm getting less acne-typical inflamed breakouts, but more of the deeper sitting, hard and painful zits), I'm starting my Oil Cleansing regimen the very second instead of my normal skin cleansing routine! (Details –> see The Oil Cleansing Method, OCM. It's all natural and helps a lot.)

Additionally, I exfoliate a few times a week and massage my skin with a silicone pad every morning by hand (this is where the device would come in so handy!).

This is my very special (and seemingly secret!) tip:
On every spot likely to become a breakout, I dab a bit of castor oil/ricinus oil. I find it helps the most with bringing already occurred inflammation down, preventing inflammation and it's not drying (like all the other spot gels and treatments). It's also natural, cheap and easy to travel with!

  68. 23 March 2016 / 11:24 am

I use honey as a mask and sometimes, potato juice too. It is natural with no side effects.

I've a really temperamental, sensitive and acne prone skin. It only takes a tiny mistake to upset my skin and transform my face from normal to a complete mess. It's a lot of work. What have made biggest different is to learn to read my skin. I've done a LOT of research and trial & error, but have finally managed to figure how to read my skin. I instantly know if it need a deep cleaning/moisture/more sebum etc from just looking at it. That why I can easily take care of whatever needs my skin has at the moment. = A happier skin. 🙂

I tried to clean/tone and hydrate my face every day and I found Clinique is the best for me but the brush cleanser was awful! I had to take it back and funnily enough the sales assistant said she uses Magnitone 🙂

In the winter months I use vaseline at night to keep my face hydrated. Just a little! Definitely not enough to have a shiny face.

I moisturize the heck out of my face, but I worry I'm not giving it the deepest of cleans… this sounds like it's just what I need.

I never suffer from spots and I think it is down to making sure I cleanse, tone and moisturise twic daily and try to give my face a break from make-up ie, if I anm not going out I like to wear none!
