10 Summer Outfit Ideas (My Best of Season, Summer 2015)

The best of Not Dressed As Lamb's outfits Summer 2015
Here's my favourite outfits from the summer (June to August) - there may be some you missed! My fave of the faves is no.3 - the black and white gingham dress was so popular at the time, plus - would you believe it: It's back in stock at Hobbs and half price...! My second favourite is probably my birthday dinner outfit (no. 6) - I loved the pop of colour from the heels and the unusual choker necklace.

What's your favourite outfit of my Summer 2015 round up? Let me know in the comments!

Autumnal Colours + #iwillwearwhatilike Link Up: Anything Goes

Autumnal style | Sheer plaid shirt, mustard trousers, deep red bucket bag #iwillwearwhatilike link up
I may be away on holiday for two weeks but that doesn't mean the #iwillwearwhatilike link up isn't going ahead! I've got the autumnal ball rolling with this outfit of sheer orange checks, mustard trousers and vintage gold Leo pendant (last seen here). There's no denying it will feel pre-tty cold in the UK when I get back...!

You can link up anything you like this week that proves you wear what you like - but the weekly theme is always optional don't forget.

Thanks so much to everyone that linked up last week. The theme of statement shoes was very popular (I thought it would be) so it was hard to choose just a few favourites, but don't miss those I've featured below. Do please support the #iwillwearwhatilike movement by sharing your looks on Instagram - don't forget the hashtag - I'll be checking my feed in Santorini (WiFi willing) so I'll see you there!

What are you loving this week? Have you embraced any new season pieces or colours yet - do share in the comments!

#iwillwearwhatilike link up | Not Dressed As Lamb

Thank you for joining my new #iwillwearwhatilike link up! This started as a campaign on Instagram in August 2015 where women over 30 wore everything on a journalist's list of "inappropriate" items for 30+ women (including leopard print, short dresses and oversized sunglasses. Yes, really). It was so popular that I decided to carry it on weekly where women of all ages link up their fabulous style, never mind what anyone tells them not to wear!

So link up all your fabulous outfits (or shoes, accessories, make-up, etc.) every Monday at 3pm UK time - it'll stay open for a week. Whilst the original article was of course aimed at the 30+, you can be ANY age to link up. The only criteria is that you're wearing whatever you damn well like!

My favourite STATEMENT SHOES from last week's link up (so many to choose from!):

** The optional theme for 5th October is CASUAL WEAR **

All I ask of you linking up is that you:

1. Please follow your host Not Dressed As Lamb (via Bloglovin or Instagram)
2. Link up your outfits (blog or Instagram posts) that show how you choose to wear what you like - as many as you like!
3. Include a link back to this post if you're linking from a blog post, or add my button (below)
4. Post your outfit on Instagram (if you use it) with the hashtag #iwillwearwhatilike - Monday's the day to join in the IG fun
5. Visit some of the other links and share the love!

A navy and gold dress and sleek suit from Kelsey and Jake that will make you =gasp=.

Olivia gives us a masterclass in how to wear enormous bell bottoms.

An amazingly comprehensive list of blogging resources from Caitlin.

Are you careful to remove the photomap location on your Instagram pictures? Make sure you do - for all sorts of (safety) reasons. One safety precaution every Instagram user should take.

An incredibly elegant poncho accessorised to perfection by Adrienne with a Marsala leather bag and rockstuds.

A heartfelt, insightful post from Samantha on starting a blog in your 40s and things she's learned along the way.

Keit's mastery of funky layering knows no bounds.

Monika proves that petites can look amazing in maxi dresses.

Elizabeth has asked if there is there any point in blogging any more, and her observations of how it has changed over the years are spot-on.

One to pin: I don't know if it's Tara's gorgeous red curls or her blanket scarf, but she's got me seriously crushing on autumn with this outfit.

Guilty pleasures: Let's just call them stuff we like and stop hobby shaming. Excellent observations from Jess: "Half of pop culture's best bits arose from combining the very basest of entertainment with the very loftiest".

Chrissi proves that you shouldn't pass up shapeless vintage dresses when the colour and pattern are really pretty. One brand new, refashioned green dress.

I've just discovered ex-news anchor Mary Murnane's blog. She shows how you can become more beautiful and more elegant as you get older - this all-white outfit proves it.

Which of these were your favourites?
