How to Dress in French Style | One Year as a La Redoute Brand Ambassador

How to dress French style | One year as a La Redoute ambassador
Sadly my 12 month La Redoute brand ambassadorship has come to an end, but looking back I have some great outfits that appeared on the blog, as well as wonderful memories of my fantastic Paris trip with the girls from the brand! As promised in my final outfit post as ambassador here is a round up of all the French style outfits I’ve featured as part of my role – not strictly influenced by what we think of as traditional French necessarily, but French meaning wearing La Redoute either in full or in part.

As a fan of the brand for many years previously it was great to represent them for a whole year, and choosing pieces from their vast range each month was fun but sometimes overwhelming as they have so much choice…! But I have some great key pieces now, and if you look in the details for each outfit a few of them are still available to buy.

So go grab a croissant and a coffee and enjoy “mon année de style français” – let me know your favourite in the comments!

Pink heart sweater with blue Peter Pan collar, floral trousers
1. A Motif Sweater & Bright Peter Pan Collar >> original post
Not strictly a brand ambassador post, but I wore this cute heart motif sweater on my trip to Paris and never got an outfit post done at the time. Can’t wait to wear it again this summer.
Still available to buy:

Embroidered sweatshirt & pleated maxi skirt
2. A Postcard from Paris with La Redoute >> original post
My official outfit post from the trip – a light sweatshirt and a pleated maxi is perfect for springtime in Paris!

Camo jacket and white skinnies
3. Camouflage Jacket & Paris Tee >> original post
I’ve worn both of these pieces recently, and the white skinnies are of course a summertime favourite.

White summer top and distressed patchwork jeans
4. Distressed Patchwork Jeans, Sheer Top and Sandals >> original post
I wore head-to-toe La Redoute here: I love how flattering those distressed skinnies are.
Still available to buy:

Breton stripes and dungarees
5. Breton Stripes and Dungarees with Monk Shoes >> original post
The comfiest smart shoes ever and a true French classic: the Breton top.
Still available to buy:

Grey marl with yellow trousers
6. Mustard Yellow With Grey Marl and Suede Booties >> original post
These booties were one of my most popular pieces ever on the blog, but wow did this outfit divide opinion on Google Plus…!

Grey sweater dress layered over black trousers, longline black coat
7. Silver and Black Christmas Party Layered Look >> original post
Having never owned a black winter coat before (that I can remember), this was such a beautifully cut classic shape. And I was able to eats loads in that loose dress at the Christmas party.

Valentine's Day date night outfit - rose patterned dress over cropped trousers
8. Layered Roses Dress | Valentine’s Day Date Night Outfit >> original post
Still love this (not over-girly) Valentine’s Day look – the dress is so pretty and I love the muted colours.

Blue tapestry coat, taupe fedora, white skinny jeans
9. Tapestry Coat and an Indiana Jones Hat >> original post
I love this coat so much I’d wear it all summer if I could. If you’re in autumn/winter right now I urge you to get it (La Redoute do international delivery); if you’re in spring/summer like me, buy it now and save it for a few months.

They are all lovely, I love the tapestry coat esp., but outfit 11 is my favourite, the juxtaposition of the blouse with the overalls (um dungarees, I'm American by origin!) just makes for a really chic, cute look! I love the clogs too! I have been hankering for a pair and thought "Hm how do I wear them now I'm no longer twenty?" and you've answered that question (twice – also love the breton and beige combo!) so thank you! You've been a great brand ambassador, I do like La Redoute but find their sizes hit and miss sometimes (a peril with any online outlet really). I am off to look at the dungarees…and the black brogue-(ish?) flats, fab! 🙂 xo

I still that outfit too, hun! And ah, the cut out shoes… they were very popular at the time, too – thank you :))
