French Style: Camouflage Jacket & Paris Tee | La Redoute Brand Ambassador Post

Camo jacket and white skinnies
Continuing my role as a brand ambassador for La Redoute, this month I thought I’d bring you a summer look for cooler days when you need a jacket – with just a little touch of Paris about it! After seeing what La Redoute had to offer I immediately decided on this fabulous : something I’ve been wanting for ages. The cut of this one is perfect, and although it’s unlined I think you’re better off with an unlined cotton jacket for this time of year. And following my trip to Paris in May to kick off my ambassadorship, what better item to choose than a ?  My graphic tee collection is coming together slowly but surely 🙂

These two pieces go really well together, and the white skinny jeans (yay they’re back at last!) keep the look just right for this time of year… perfect for cooler, rainier days or the evenings. I have to say I love the military-style detailing on the jacket. I also love the leather and silver cuff sent to me by one of my favourite brands Aspire Style: they normally specialise in vintage-style dresses but their jewellery selection is rather good, so do check it out.

So I’ve finally jumped on the camo trend bandwagon… am I the last? Or are you planning on getting something in this print, or do you have something camo already? Let me know in the comments!

So unfair that you look that smashing in white jeans. So. Unfair.

I'm really into graphic prints so natually I'm drawn to your t-shirt. Personally I only wear camoflage from the waist down as it does nothing for me. You look so trendy and your white jeans fit your legs perfectly!

Your new military-inspired jacket fits you like a dream, dear Catherine!! I think the camo trend is becoming a bit of a classic now…I have a super-soft, over-sized camo shirt that I like to wear as a tunic over skinny jeans!! Pairing your jacket with a graphic tee and white jeans certainly does give the outfit a fresh, seasonal feel…as do those strap-tastic sandals!! XOXO

i love the utility jacket! i have wanted one myself for a while but settled on just a plain khaki in the end. I would love to try camo jeans (like carly of thirty something fashion, she rocks them!!). I reckon this would look awesome with a black and white top underneath! I bet its a great piece to own.

I am so glad that I found your blog! Returning to the UK after wearing beachwear for the past year (hard life I know), and want to update my wardrobe in a 40-something manner, without looking mumsy and frumpy. Great ideas and photos. Keep up the good work.

I love the top and jacket together, and they're perfect with the white denim!

Well, camo is always in style here (I'm a Texas country girl). Guys and girls wear the "real" thing for sport and of course fashion too. :o)

This jacket is about the best one I've ever seen! So cool!!!

Cooler summer days… we'll have a whole week of them again, I guess. I usually take a jacket or a cardigan with me as we do have chilly mornings and evenings here in the mountains.
You look fabulous as always, Catherine! As I work in the military, camouflage obviously is a no-go for me.

    Have a great week!

It's taken me forever to come around to camo too, but I love this jacket! The length and shape make it very flattering. The whole outfit is brilliant!

Very cool Catherine! I'm not one for camo print myself, think I have a baseball cap with it on that I use for running, but that's all! Looks so chic with the white jeans, really nice look on you. x
