Ways to Style Boyfriend Jeans: With Pastel Knits & Killer Nude Heels

White sweater, boyfriend jeans, nude pointed heels
Back to normal with my outfit posts: nothing going on with London Fashion Week here.

Except now that I’m not traipsing round the streets of the big smoke I can get back to wearing my heels with my jeans (I avoided heels for LFW). As you can probably tell from my last few posts this blush pink Asos snood has had much use as the temperature is still below average for this time of year, and I love it with white. The funnel shape means you don’t get any gappage [my word] where cold air can get in – it’s sooo snuggly and warm.

My hairstyle is inspired by the style sported by the models in the Yifang Wan AW14 show I saw at LFW, and I made use of the leftover curl in my hair from the Fever London photo shoot on Saturday. In case you’ve missed my Tweets and Facebook and you voted for me: thank you – I did it, I was one of the winners! I can’t thank everyone enough for voting for me, we had such an amazing day. I’ll be writing a post for this Wednesday with behind-the-scenes photos so keep an eye out for that.

I wore these Aldo nude pointed heels for several pictures at the photo shoot, and I have to say they are most flattering, gorgeous heels I could have hoped to find. I love the cutaway sides, and for a killer heel they’re pretty comfortable. Have you found the most perfect shape shoe that flatters your feet? Do share!

Am just catching up with some blog reading, Catherine, and absolutely love this look – it's that kind of effortlessly stylish casual look that I can never seem to pull off, and I so envy those who can, especially when they do it as well as you! I've yet to find the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans, but you've inspired me to resume the hunt!

As I said in the other post, I love your heels. I had similar in black linen. They were brilliant. Loved them to death.

I am about to gush *blushes* but your style and blog are fab! It's only since I've upped my Twitter game that I've just discovered you.

Firstly I absolutely LOVED the recent 'vintage style/look' makeover that you had in London and now you have got me hooked on my nemesis, – the dreaded boyfriend jean. I;m just about to do an ASOS style steal with a pair of dark blue 'slim leg' boyfriends – which incidentally are on sale at a bargainous ELEVEN British pounds!

Also loving your eyebrows, hair and the ability to wear heels int eh countryside. We moved to deepest, darkest West Dorset 12 months ago via Hackney and Liverpool and I have been living in wellies and boots ever since. I have got got ask – you do you walk up the lanes in flaties and then change into your shoes for your fashion shots?

You look awesome, especially your hair. I going to be in a tiny minority of one, but I truly think you don't need the uncomfortable looking pumps.

Ooh, I love this look! Although I'm not brave enough to bare my white feet just yet, and have to join the wedge brigade, or kitten heels, because my knees can't take stilettos!

This is a great look for you Catherine, I love your hair as well.
Personally I think the best way to wear boyfriend jeans is with heels.
It looks more sexy and feminine. I especially love the pointy heels.

Love your hair styled this way, Catherine…it looks very sophisticated!! (Must use a ton of hairspray, though?!) That snood is truly scrumptious – both the colour and the texture! – and I'm a huge fan of boyfriend jeans contrasted with really feminine pumps!! You get two thumbs up from me again!! XO

Thank you Monika…!! It needed more backcombing than hairspray – the curl that was still in it helped x

You look great. Very fashionable, yet comfy. I tend to stay away from heels, my feet can't take it. I do love the wedge though. I love skimmers too. They are so comfortable. I have them in black and a black and tan suede spectator. I got them at JJill.
