Wearing Primaries (Surprisingly), Plus Neutrals

I was a bit worried before I left the house in this outfit that it was a bit subdued, so I grabbed my fail-safe red tote. I know the sweater is a shade of neon, but still – I felt underwhelmed by the dark blue jeans, olive coat and brown boots. So to my surprise the photos showed a very vibrant outfit indeed: the primaries in fact…! Red, blue and yellow (though it’s actually neon green), simply offset by some neutrals.

It’s always quite a prim-and-proper look when you pair a white shirt with a sweater – but the edgy jewellery contrasts with that rather nicely. I should have taken my own advice and taken a photo before leaving the house to see that it actually looked a lot better than I thought!

I love color, but usually stray away from the primaries–but I love them toned down with the neutrals. LOVE the neon!
