I have very little explanation for the title of this post, except to say that Peachy Helga is what popped into my head when drafting it up... and in the end I couldn't think of a better one. I always feel like my name should be Helga with this hairdo...!
Back to brights again for this outfit - the extra punch of yellow from the socks was more of a practical choice than a style choice (my feet had been sooo cold in the office the day before; I wasn't taking any chances). Like putting the heating on, I refuse to wear tights in June. But the thing I like most about this outfit is very simply the combination of green (apple ring) and turquoise (nail colour). I often find I'm drawn to the very small details of an outfit and find myself admiring them throughout the day, like I've made some little secret discovery that only I'm aware of ;)
By the way - I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone who commented on my last post after I announced that I will be continuing with my blog after next month's birthday/bloggiversary. I really appreciate all your lovely words and support - you guys are the best!!
Happy Wednesday everyone :)

DeleteI think you'll meet many a Helga with this hairdo at the annual October Fest in Germany! That's why you've chosen the perfect name. The hairdo looks great on you! The colours are fantastic - just right for the kind of summer weather we've had in Europe lately. Last night I sat at my computer admiring that very ring - too bad my fingers are too thick, I love it!
ReplyDeleteOh what a shame, Kaffes! And yes, I guess it's because it looks German that Helga came to mind...! Thanks sweetie :)) xoxo
