Utilitarian, with neon and heels

















Hello everyone (below are details of my giveaway - see yesterday's post)!

Another day in the office, another pair of jeans - I always start with jeans when I've got up feeling tired and haven't planned an outfit the night before. (Does everyone else plan outfits like I'm led to believe on many blogs???) I just added lots of layering, a punch of neon yellow and some heels to keep me feeling girly. I haven't worn this black and cream blouse in such a long time, maybe because it's a "can't be-worn-unironed top" - but I do love it so!

  1. Love all the accessories especially the neon bag. Think I might try rolling my jeans up as well. Getting bored of my usual skinny jeans look. I never have time to plan an outfit. Most of my wardrobe is laid out on the bedroom floor lol. x

  9. I love that black and white blouse, it's so pretty. I too reach for jeans whenever I'm stumped for what to wear in the morning - I NEVER plan my outfits the night before! Of course, that results in me running around trying on twenty different outfits ten minutes before I'm supposed to leave, but it's so much more fun that way than planning it the night before :)

    1. Heehee I always try to plan the night before, but usually I just want to get into bed so I too often rush round in the morning! Or I'll have planned an outfit but then fiddle around for ages in the morning trying on jewellery to go with it ;))) Thanks Stacey! x

  10. Adore this layered look of yours, and love the touch of neon. I don't generally plan my outfits unless I'm travelling, but even then I still tend to dress by my mood starting with the shoes! lol :-) Happy weekend!

  15. Nice outfit. What I always find difficult with adding a colour through a bag, is that I have to leave my bag in a draw. Which means that my only pop of colour is gone.
    And yes, I always plan (and hang up) my outfit for the next day, the evening before. I have to. Half my wardrobe is in the bedroom and I get up at a quarter past 5. Wouldn't be nice to my husband to waken him as well.
