All dressed up in floaty florals

This is the outfit I wore for a Chinese meal to celebrate my niece’s birthday at the weekend… and I have a confession to make. Although this is what I wore, I did recreate the outfit yesterday when the weather was beautiful for photos; it was so grim on Sunday that there was no way pictures were going to be taken! But you can at least see I got a bit dressed up with some bling and pretty florals, though I didn’t need the sunnies on the day 😉

(Oh and Happy Birthday Rosie again, I know you’ll be reading this lovely girl!!)

Hope everyone’s having a nice week so far!

Love that kimono top. I like how you've paired it with the stripes too. Very pretty.
I bought one just like it online a year or so ago, but different pattern and colors. I never buy online, but loved it so much I had to have it.

It was pretty comfy, except maybe an elasticated waist might have been better for a Chinese meal, Cambria ;))) Thanks sweetie!! xoxo

I like the jewelry -everything else as well. I have a similar ring I bought in India and I was told it is made of a metal named "Victorian metal".

Great look! I really like your kimono. I have seen them in the thrift shops and have been tempted to take one home, but they aren't flattering on me. I think it's that your kimono is shorter and doesn't bury your great figure – a modern version. I'll have to keep looking for one like yours – I'll take a look at your links.

I think a shorter one would look wonderful on you, Adrienne – you have the height to carry it off beautifully! Thanks sweetie for your lovely comments, C xoxo
