Today is 100 days till my birthday. Nothing too unusual about that, except that I started this blog on my birthday last year as a countdown to my fortieth, intending it to be a one year project (read my About the Blog page for the scoop). I really didn't have a clue whether many people would read it, and I certainly didn't expect to build up a legion of followers anything like I have done. So I will have to make a decision as to whether to carry on after my birthday - though at the moment I can't imagine not blogging any more. We shall see nearer the time...!
So this outfit was a bit of a mash-up, made up of separate items I just fancied wearing. That meant comfy cords, a sweatshirt, a psychedelic blazer and scraping back my hair horse tail-fashion, hoping it all looks half coherent. Oh and wearing my cat eye glasses, again just because I wanted to. The shoes, however, I did choose specifically for a bit of height and colour co-ordination. It took me back to the days when my mother would simply let me wear whatever I wanted without any arguments (on non-school days) - does that mean I've reverted to choosing my clothes the way a six year old does ;)
Did it work? Well, let's just say I'll file it under "Unusual... even for me".
It's Friday - have a great weekend everybody!!

Blazer: River Island (I like this alternative), Sweater: F+F (old), Cords: Unknown (very old), Heels: River Island at ASOS, Glasses: eBay similar, Earrings: Unknown, Rings: ASOS / H&M similar, Watch: Gift (ASOS) similar, Bracelets: H&M similar / ASOS, Nails: Chanel Chanel Blue Boy 555 / Barry M Bright Red (over the blue)
