Minty Birds and a Pop of Red

So I’m wearing another two items I’d not thought of pairing before – the bird print blouse last seen here and the mint coloured top with bows on, last seen here.

I now think they were designed to be worn together perhaps…? Choosing the main part of this outfit was easy – shades of blue and mint – but I had a dilemma when it came to what shoes to wear. So thank you to my niece Rosie: she said the red booties and she was absolutely right. It needed a pop of colour and I do love pale blue with red.

The weather today has really warmed up in Blighty so I might be getting the summer wardrobe out from storage a little early this year; normally I don’t reach for it till the end of April at the earliest!

Do you guys keep clothes for winter/summer stored away? My wardrobe is currently heaving with thick winter stuff so I do it for practical storage reasons as well as the other reason, you know, the one where, er, they tell you to do that. You know, they.

Enjoy the rest of the week and have a great weekend folks!!!

I definitely have to change out seasons. I have way too much winter clothing and this year it was too warm to wear much of it.
This is one of my favorites of your outfits. I had been crushing on bird prints this year and that minty top with the bows, oh my how I adore it.

What a marvelous combination! The red shoes are the perfect finishing touch.

I keep my off-season duds in the basement. Helps a ton.
