Check it out - tights are out

The coloured tights are out, so that's it - it's autumn. Had to wait most of the day for it to stop raining so we could take the photo. A nice easy outfit for Sunday lunch with my parents and family, and the first item from my vintage haul gets an airing: the patchwork knitting bag is going to be reserved for the weekend, it's too cute for work. Meantime the grey dress has been in a pile marked "sewing" due to a seam coming apart for probably about a year... I really wanted to wear it over this check shirt today so I finally got the needle and thread out and mended the darn thing (pun not intended).
